Those are fine looking locomotives.  They would look fantastic on a layout.

Come on BNSF, CSX, I can't wait to see Great Northern, Northern Pacific and Santa Fe.  You know Kato will be all over that.

Nickel Plate Road units nose stripes look odd to me, otherwise it looks nice.....

Don't the couplers have to be bare metal like the wheels so you can see defects in them easier?

The NS got some free advertising during the truck race at at Martinsville today. :D
Showed a train going bye the backstrech a couple of times during a yellow flag.

That is very classy.

I thought I read that the PRR one had gone in for paint.  As skeptical as I am about the promotional artwork, I am still anxious to see it in execution.  I may be pleasantly surprised.

I really like all four of the units completed to date: CR, SOU, NKP, and CofG and look forward to more being released.  Wouldn't it be nice if NS got wind of the CRHS Rail-B-Q in Newport, PA next month and sent at least one of these heritage units through that day?  You know, it does increase, albeit small, the odds of getting a blue leader.
