I recently read that Conrail's instructions were "test every inch of the railroad" with the track geometry car.

Well, here it is, showing off the basic coat of paint I put down here to kill the green.

I shot a pair of photos from actual eye height.

These have the kit on them?

Yup. Only thing I haven't done is install the horns.

Working out staging for the East York Industrial.

I made a template out of foamcore. I think the final version will be foam with a wood spine, mostly to make it easy to cut to the weird shape and to actually get into place.

Will you be naming that location 'Gasmeterszag', as John Armstrong did on his Canandaigua Southern layout?

Two new additions.

1. I posted a recent cumulative update the other day on my site. I don't think it's anything folks here haven't seen, but here it is: https://conrail1285.com/new-ncr-2222-update/
2. @John stopped by with this work of art. I didn't want this photo or my gratitude to be lost on the other thread on it. So, thank you again!

That is going to be a very fun layout to run .. I'm looking forward to being a remote dispatcher and also run some trains ..  come to think of it . put a couple of cameras in there - we could run from remote :)

They'll look right at home!

Early Conrail leased a LOT of locomotives so visitors are always welcome.
