I guess I better get back to work on it :)

Chop chop! Lol
There really is no rush. Although if you can send me the footprint and track spacing I'd appreciate it.

It's an old school Atlas one and haven't gotten into DCCing it. They other day I realized I could swap in the sound guts from a recent GP35 and it's back in business.

I'll take the old DC guts when you do that...  I have a stray GP35 shell you might recall, that it can ride under...

Keep an eye out for good deals on the sound equipped mechs and you might just get it as a finder's fee.

I spent some time at the other end of York while waiting for my shipment of RH #7s.

I had debated including the Ohio Blenders siding that comes off the Frederick Secondary just past the interlocking at CP GEORGE. After putting in the track in the area I realized I could make it work both operationally and aesthetically. So... In it went.

I also spent some time with some brown paint at the Route 30 crossing scene.

Who knows what actual structure placement will look like, but it's nice that these beasts got here on their own power.

Another milestone last night: fully powered all the way to the end of track where the world currently ends on Pershing Ave.

Obviously things are all stand ins at the moment, but it gives you an idea of what I'm going for.

I like how this is shaping up.  Is this the upper deck so this near-to-eye level is typical?

Thanks!

It's slightly lower than armpit height, so close enough.

That scene with the bridge looks like an old yard that now just has a few tracks.

I know! I kinda love it.

One of the things I do miss about the old layout was the giant "there used to be a roundhouse here" scene. It was aprototypical for the spot I was modeling but I loved the "Conrailness" of it for this very reason.

Sadly, on this current iteration, I don't have a lot of space on the new layout to do similar stuff, but I think I'm going to try and do some in the engine terminal area.
