Their Facebook post says "Coming back by popular demand" so I guess they did.  I commented that I'd rather have a PRR H8/H9/H10 2-8-0.

Oh goodie!  I guess this shows that there is a demand for these finely-detailed and properly-scaled mooing cars.  Do they come with a free pair of RR-themed children's shoes?

All kidding aside, I will not be getting one of those abominations of a N scale stock  car, but if it makes profit for BLI, all the power to them.

I think the most important part of this announcement is that in 2021 BLI will be releasing a model with both sound and no sound options. If only they would do that with their locomotives...

I like the cars but don't care for the sound so I'm in for a pair of the UP and a pair of NKP without sound. I am a big fan of stock cars.

I have to give BLI credit for revising the artwork so that the sides are represented as solid rather than slatted- so at least people will see what they are getting.

Most of my stock car fleet are IM ATSF cars, which are at least passably accurate.  Plus a few Con cor and whatnot in various roads.  Plus the ubiquitous MTL green ATSF (really NYC) car.

Someday, no doubt, someone will figure out how to put sound into an IM stock car, but until that day, I can put a mic in the neighbor's cattle pen and mount  a speaker under the stock yard.

Well, as disappointed as I was with the original release, I wouldn’t mind one or two of these in proto Pennsy scheme, without sound to go with my NYC MT cars. Just to get another proto based stock car body style. Maybe in a moving train, the lack of see through slats is not as obvious? Can’t tell from the ad how much the non sound version is though...
