Nice.  Now, I am supposed to build (and finance) a layout over the next 12 months, so there might be a budget issue.  But I know a lot of people are very happy with this news.

Awesome.  An FP7 is also good news however I think they could have good for something more interesting.

Wonder if they might release a FP9A at some point.  Intermountain has 7's and 9's announced but we all know where that stands.... :facepalm:

BTW, what happened to the pike sized train? The one where there was a poll regarding the loco?

WOO HOO!!!  I will buy this run and hope for a second run in UP colors!  I had requested this train on Kato's "Suggest a Model" page along with the SDP40F and Amtrak Phase I cars in the past.  I REALLY love the fact that Kato does listen to its fans!!!

Why would they?  The only true FP9As were built for Canada, the only US units were four rebuilt from parts of EMD FTs for the Chicago & Northwestern.

I can't help wonder if they will be doing the Creek-series observation car and Super Dome in Canadian National as well... the dome could be useful in a couple of different schemes...

Now if Rapido does the FP9A...
