Page 88-89? The listed numbers are the same as what I have in the first (and only run).  Or did I miss something somewhere?

Reading thru the announcement of the PRR T1 4-4-4-4 on Page 90, "Equipped with full sound, smoke and Rolling Thunder for DC and DCC. Is the smoke for real OR did they just cut-n-paste the description from the HO version?

You are (regrettably) correct. My bad. FFS, if you're doing a new run anyway, why not produce new road numbers? New buyers won't know the difference, and guys like me who want a stable of unique road numbers will buy more.

I don't know why they feel the need to offer a GG1 with the excellent Kato model on the market and the Bachmann model about to drop.  The only thing I would be interested in is the pantograph if it is equalized and sprung.

Oh yeah, definitely. It's a known thing that they mess up the descriptions. The origional M1 desfcription mentioned working front couplers, too. I called customer service about it and they said they just copied the HO description over. So, yeah. I'm pretty sure that's happening here.

It is interesting about the GG1. It'll have sound, right? That's attractive to me. But do I really need another GG1 for what I model? No. Do I want another one? Well...probably.

Maybe they started GG1 production 10 years ago . Given their gestation record it's a preemie .

Just received an email flyer from Trainworld- PRR T1, F7a and b multiple road and PRR GG1 on preorder there along with some modern stuff...

BLI had an early preproduction model of the T1 at Trainfest.  It may have been a resin shell??, but there it was in 3D, mechanism and all.

That's a pretty good sign that things are farther along at announcement that the M1a was at least.  And BLI has been churning out N scale E6/7/8/9's and PA's for a few years now so producing an F3/7 shouldn't be too difficult.

My Kato Broadway Limited sits mostly unused because I haven't a proper pair of Pennsy E8s (or an E7A/B combo) to pull it.  I have GG1s, and they run quite nicely, but even in my most un-proto-encumbered mood, the lack of catenary bothers me.

I know the T1 was very unlikely to ever have pulled the 1949 Broadway set as the Blue Ribbon Fleet was dieselized by then, but I'm betting it'll look sweet nonetheless.

Anyone with a good collection of Fleet of Modernism cars should rejoice at this offering!

Can you confirm that they are producing the late, de-skirted version with the high number plate on the nose?
