Actually, Dave, you're the reason I bought one. I saw it on your webpage back in 2010. I happened upon a Santa Fe one that I stripped and decaled. I love it! The out of sync chugging sound and Doppler effect are sweet.

The K7a stock cars appear to be on their way. I am interested in one car without the livestock sound effects. If someone is breaking up a four-pack, I would be interested in signing on to take one car from it. Thanks!

I haven't kept up with this lately, well, because M1's!!!!! But it's a BLI N scale list so...

Waiting for the next announcement - anticipated to be the PRR T1.  Announced at the National Train Show July 8-10th, 2016?  We'll see.

Currently still a good stock on N&W H2a hoppers in various roads, PRR H32 covered hoppers and M1a/b's .  Centipedes are gone and NYC box cars are nearly so.  Also gone are ARA 70t hoppers of any road.

BLI has a few PRR M1a/b's in their "referb" store for $209.99 (plus shipping) and some Centipedes, E6, E7A and PA1's are well.  And in rolling stock there are H2a's, H32's and some unlettered NYC box cars.

Guess not.

I've been hoping that with the release of the M1 we'd start to see more steam announcements from BLI - this might still happen and I'll keep watching ...

Note the stock levels on the K7 stock car.  The quantity run must have been very low, hence the lack of concern over blowback on the design of the model.  They felt they'd recoup their investment regardless.  What they didn't factor in though is the credibility hit, which will affect sales of future N scale products.

Truthfully I don't know how much of a credibility hit they will take.  I don't think much. 

However, I had a few packs of the stock cars on order and cancelled them all after finding out about the production models solid sides.  I was less than pleased and had I received them without finding out well that might be a different story with more unpleasantness.  And I know I wasn't the only one that cancelled either.  Wonder how much they actually make on the run?  Or if they will make back their production costs?

What is concerning to me is the stock levels of the M1a/b's which are still listed as "In Stock" for most.  By BLI's admission that means there is at least 20 still in stock at the warehouse.  That may be why they didn't make the anticipated T1 announcement over the summer.  Or maybe it was just a sales rep that didn't know his facts.  Currently the only outstanding items in N scale on the BLI delivery schedule are more PA's (due soon) and the new AC6000 due next spring.  Hopefully something new is in the works other than thunder and lightning.

It could also be that, knowing what happened with the M1s, they are waiting until their ducks are already in a row before announcing. I can't say I blame them for that.
