Kato should do the Reading T1.   Just think of all the different passenger cars and paint schemes they could do with that.

It may be blasphemy, but I'd rather see a C&O T-1 than a PRR T1 because then it could be turned into a PRR J1/J1a.  The PRR version had 80" drivers vs 79" on the C&O but N-Scale drivers are fudged anyway so the difference hardly matters.  Change the cabs and the smokebox front and you have most of the main differences.  And the tender, of course.

I'd buy a PRR T1, even though I don't model that time or geographic area. It's a beautiful engine, and for that reason alone I'd add it to the collection.

That makes good sense...but...BLI also has the J class in HO, so, maybe it's just a matter of time?

Though the SPF in me... Really wants a PRR T1.... And a S2.... I'd love a S2 over the T1 even if it was a flop...

So it looks like they're fairly close to a sell out (Check the Centipede numbers).  If you want an M1b and haven't gotten one yet, better do it.  Last I looked MBK was out.  The M1a's seem to be going slower.  Maybe it's the "pre-war" labeling.
