For it to fit the hype it is creating it has to be something totally new, not a new paint scheme or re-release.  A whole new product.  If not than I will disappointed!

...MP54s?  They come in PRR (with name spelled out or just keystones), PRSL, LIRR, and Penn Central.  Just sayin'...!

I doubt they would do a 3rd Rail versions, but how cool would it be if they did  8) .

FYI - Kato capitalized Horizon on its print ads.... Maybe its just because they are making it a title....

http://www.katousa.com/whatsnew.html

if you take a look there, horizon is capitalized. Im a betting man, and I am laying 10 spot on UP 844 & Heritage fleet.

They also capitalized "Products" and "Hobby Shop"

And every first letter is capitalized in "Mixed Freight Train Set"

What does it all mean?!?!?!?

Come on, look at the ad copy... if "Horizon" wasn't capitalized it'd look really weird and out of place.  There's over 70 words on the ad and only 5 of them aren't capitalized.  Picking out 1 of the 65 that are as meaning something is really reaching.

Another reason why it's the 844/Heritage fleet is that next month the UP Steam Program celebrates it's 30th anniversary.

An ES44AC has apparently been re-decalled to commemorate the event...

Seems like a fitting time for Kato to do something???

The entire North Coast Limited in two tone green, pulled by an MP54 and pushed by a Swedish Meatball . It will come with enpugh banked doubletrack curve sections to display it in a lrage radius circle along with a semi scale model of Windsor Station in Detroit. AEM 7 in blue face with the big numbers (Ph 2?), combined with the black G's and Amtoobs would have pushed me over the edge 10 years ago.  As it is, they'd make an interesting backdrop to the WM trackage rights through Penn Station to Hillen and Sparrows Point in the mid 70's... but that's pretty expensive scenery for a module...

I agree - I loved the look of the corridor with the AEM-7's in the 1990's  - actually kind of European-ish. Used to frequently travel from Metropark to New Carrolton - always thought the area through Baltimore was by far the most model-able.

Ya know, if you jostle these things, they start to skip.

Kato seems to play opposite with the industry. When Atlas, IM and the gang make everything I'm interested, Kato has products that are too old, too new or too western for me. During this dry spell where Atlas IM, and even FVM hasen't produced anything of interest to me in at least 8 months, Kato has produced more Volvo trucks, containers, Maxi I, Amtubes and F40s.

Maybe The key Is In The words Where The first Letter Is not capitalized

Or Maybe the Person who wrote the E-mail has the Bad Habbit of using alot of Capital Letters like Me. ..

Capitalizing words within a sentence should not be considered a clue. Lots of times anymore People Do not Have anyone edit their TExt.

A Genset would be right up their alley but if they are doing the Amfleet cars and AEM7.................
