Haha, that looks like the representation of an EMD from a mass market video game.

Boulderman:  I'd buy a Little Joe, if it ran better than my brass ones, but don't really need one.  I need a pair of EF-1 Boxcabs.  Could you use them?

I would buy EF-1, ..., EF-5 Boxcabs for Lombard.

I'm waiting with bated breath for Amherst.

Unfortunately the previous Scale Trains releases have all been outside my era and location apart from the UP Water Tender set (Early version) — which is exquisite.

Based on their GEVO, I'd love to get a loco if they do a prototype suitable for Tehachapi in the late '90s.

If they do the Tunnel Motors in N, I'd be over the moon, and Scale Trains will get fistfuls of my cash. I have lost countless hours of my life getting my Intermountain Tunnel Motors to run well (wheel and truck upgrades, replacements for warped chassis, replacements for warped/glued shells). Also, these have been out of production for years, and now Intermountain are offline with the factory closure :(

I think there is definitely room for more than one N scale manufacturer to make a decent model of prototypes that had a wide range (SD40-2s, Dash 9s, AC4400CWs ).

I'll also be happy if they do a GP40X, GP50, or an SDP45 (if they do an SD45M / SD40M-2 variant).

Scale Trains would also get my money if they do their C39-8 with ditch lights (like they have in H0 https://www.scaletrains.com/collections/rivet-counter-ho-scale-ge-c39-8/products/rivet-counter-ho-scale-ge-c39-8-pennsylvania-northeastern), but I understand that their pre-orders have been poor, and I might have to suck it up and do these myself.

Cheers

I am almost certain it'll be an SD40-2 in N scale. I don't think you're going to see an N model that they haven't done in HO first.

So I just watched the video again. Shane says they'll have 2 new N scale announcements at the show but at the end of the video he say to look for the 2nd operator diesel loco at the end of 2019 after he says that there will be additional HO announcements at the same time. Not quite sure on what he means there.
I'm with Ed though, one of the loco's for N scale will be an SD40-2, look at what they have in the background.  I think that one of the HO and the other N scale loco will be the same and my guess is still the T4Sd70ACE.

One might hope the SD40-2 would include the N variant (there are only a couple pure 40-2s running around UP these days, they've upgraded them to the N variant) - I'm probably going to croak before the IM units get here...

I'm probably in the minority, but I'd also be happy if Scale Trains did a Rivet Counter SD40-2 in N.

The Intermountain sub-frame and details don't do it for me, and the BLI release is incorrect for most roads.

I'm still running my Kato SD40-2s — which I know have an over-scale hood, but they run better, and have a much nicer sub-frame and fuel tank. They look better to me when viewed at shallow angles.

Cheers

Boulderman:  I'd love to have an EF-5, with one each of the short and long middle units.  Heck, I'd LIKE to have several of them!  If I could afford them, I'd buy at least one each in the 1950s orange and maroon and the 1960s orange and black, then mix-and-match them to suit.  All I actually NEED is two units, but I'll take more if I can get them.

All I need the electrics for is an interchange with my BN, so an EF-1 would be perfect, as local freight power.  If I had room to model the MILW, a Joe and a couple diesels on the front, and Boxcabs for helpers, would make a beautiful train.
