If it's a U33B, I'd be satisfied.

Or a C.

If it's Tunnel Motors in N scale I'll be going deep into debt. Same goes for AC4400CWs.
Tier 4 SD70s would also be troublesome to my finances.

I hope it's something I don't need like some obscure transistion era diesel from some minor builder.
If I had train money for next year I would be in the same boat.

What if I want to win 2 N scale locos instead of 1 HO and 1 N?

Can the announcement be done via SKYPE for those of us who cannot make the show?

What was there last HO loco released? That's my bet for 1 of the N scale engines.

The only locomotives I need are a MILW EF-1/2/3/5 (Boxcab), or a D&RGW K-36/37, in N scale, and I doubt that they'll make either one.  My money is safe.

I know that whatever they are, they won't be something from before July of 1944, so my wallet is safe.

I think they might have received enough encouragement to at least look into an  SD40-2. My money would be on a U boat or GP50 as both have been a bit undeserved in both HO and N. I would love to see a C30-7 with all its variants (and C36-7) but not sure they would be willing to take on the model after lack luster pre-sales in N of the C39-8.

Other outside guesses? NW5, an FM switcher, DD40AX, Veranda

I would really like to see obviously an excellent SD40-2 but also a top of the line GP30.

I hope its a new model and not something that has been already made several times.

Fingers crossed for an ICG GP-11 and SD-20.

Both have long service lives and multiple regions/schemes for broad appeal...

The only things that I would like....and it shock the bejesus out of me if they do it....would be an AS616 or GP30/35 high hood.

As far as "most exciting new loco", I almost wonder if they are going steam with some N&W steam.

Yep.  In my case, if it is a GTW 4-8-4 or a Monon F-3A phase 1 with big number boards, I will pony up the cash.  Maybe also for an ATSF 2-10-2 or E1A/B.  Otherwise,  locomotive announcements really aren't very "exciting" for me at all....

Don't get me wrong- they make very nice models, I just wish they made some in my layout's 1956 time frame, or earlier.

One more to toss in: a CF7. That would be a great model for N scale.
