Yeah! Definitely an easy chore with JMRI. Did you get the PR3 hooked up?

Yes, I hooked it up as stand alone programmer.  Going to try to hook up everything together today.

Jason, before you go 3d with this, look at the way the sheet metal siding is  clipped onto the ribs....
Or maybe it's just this car?

As many problems with my laptop I had yesterday, this morning things went great ! I hooked up my laptop to the layout via a Digitrax PR3 and JMRI.  Everything worked with no issues ! And then I downloaded throttle app for my phone, and now I can operate my layout with my phone ! I love it when things work as planned.

Yeah, those may need to be separate pieces.  I mostly put them there as a representation.  I'll probably draw them as thin as the upload checker will let me (which could be the same as .005" styrene except with the drawing I can bury them into the ribs) and see how it looks on the screen.

With all of the great work seen here I wanted to add a bit from a relaxed modeler.  I brought out some older cars and operated a few manifest freights and a couple of Trailer Jets.

CORRECTED - Knew something was wrong when I typed that. Also need to ballast more after move, lost some stone. I also wonder
about those scratch built phone poles. Might be too big, the posts and the insulators.

Yes, that would be me.  And at some point in the not too distant future I would like very much to show you and Randy what I've got this far and get some of your thoughts on the basic power truck that I expect to follow up with once the mine chassis is done.  I'm down in Slippery Rock so not too far from you guys.  Maybe some contact off line and we could make that a plan.  Sometime in the next month or so might be good.  I'd really like to get some input from some experienced loco modellers before to finalize all of the details. It would be a shame to miss something that would have been easy to accommodate, just for a lack of knowing.

Chuck, ardmore is looking good. The poles through town are all 45-55 footers so you might go taller on them. The colors do look good on them. Also they all have two crossarms. The signal gang I run cut over the New signal system for ptc and the crossing changes so I spent a bit of time there a couple years ago.
