Show me the money photos!

As Jason's photo shows, B&O moved the windows to a more traditional arrangement, and probably pretty early on.  So, I'll be happy to see a photo of a B&O car with the MTL window pattern in the blue and gray.  That would be cool.

B&O did have the USRA-patterned mail car... numbered 78 to 80.

B&O 78-82 built in 1913.  B&O equipment was olive green at that time.  1935 saw blue on the Royal Blue equipment only.  In 1937 the Blue and Gray was introduced for the name trains, Capitol Limited, National Limited, Columbian, etc, but the remaining fleet remained olive.  Since the name trains were modernized heavyweights, I kinda doubt one of these RPO's made it into blue and gray.  1947 the fleet went to blue with a gold pinstripe.  In 1953 everything got blue and gray. 

So, from that info, I'm guessing these lesser fleet RPO's would have received blue and gray in 1953?  And that has to be well after the time B&O moved the widows to one end...

Curious what additional insight Bruce Elliot can provide.

I appreciate the SOU product Joe. I ordered some. If I can wish a little here, I need some 40 ft boxcars w/o roof walks in SOU. Lots of 50ft cars w/o roof walks. Not so many choices in the 40 ft range.  I'm just tired of filling in holes after removing roof walks. That gets old. Too much other fun modeling to do with my limited time.

I agree the RPO window arrangement is not correct but it is better than nothing till I make my own or MTL decides to cut a more common side with the windows arranged to one end of the car.

Model Power 4-6-2 Pacific (not streamlined) with a medium standard tender would work, and look nice. While not a P7, it'll fill the bill.
