The B&O coach situation, or lack thereof, is just getting comical.  First it was that the scheme was too time consuming for the amount of paintshop time MTL had.  Then they had the time but had difficulties printing the scheme.  Now apparently they have time and figured out the printing, but put it on two cars B&O didn't have.   :facepalm:

Mr. Wallet is happy that there's nothing for me this month.....the "B&O issue" should provide some entertainment...think I'll get the popcorn..... ;)

I'm gonna give um some slack for not doing the B&O coaches.  Although the B&O cars are not protype it tells me that the coaches are probably around the corner.

I have been a faithful and enthusiastic follow of the MTL heavy weight passenger car project, and as such have eagerly awaited release of B&O cars.  Budget allowing, I plan to add three each of these two cars to my roster.  :D

I think I will get a couple of these and round up a ConCor PA/PB set to pull them. That should make Mike explode. :trollface:

In reality, I will get a couple of the RPO's and an Observation. I have made a resin cast of the original RPO's in an effort to have lot's of scrap to rearrange the windows to match the B&O versions but it is not working out. I'll take a painted better than nothing or two for now. I already have a couple Pullman observations to cut up and make what I need.  This will look better than the Rivarossi car on the end of the train for a while though.

For those of us who like N&W all we have had are coaches excluding the con cor foobs. I can use afew kato cars as ex wabash cars, but no correct sleepers. Funny how little varnish there is that looks good in this scale.

B&O did have the USRA-patterned mail car... numbered 78 to 80.

 :|   Egad ! More passenger cars. While I know Balto & Ohio never had cars like these it will make an attractive train. I do feel that they should have released their B&O coach in this scheme first.Nate Goodman(Nato). Salt Lake, Utah.

Our research with Bruce Elliott (who has been amazing in this role) shows that the numbers 77-85 were used on this series.  #80 was streamlined and then given the blue and grey schemes.
