Third cousin, twice removed.....????????????
No, I'm not. And why in every single post do you have to doubt someone's reply or thoughts?
That's how I feel about much of the list but I don't want to start anything. With the New Haven though, does NS even run on their old tracks?I think these will be cool, but just like the IAIS Rock Island scheme, I'm not sure 'heritage' applies.Jason
From the release. At least they intend to stay true to the fallen flags schemes.
edit: I was just thinking that any of you NS modelers should petition the NS to do these schemes on some locomotive not made in N yet. 18 plus the normal NS schemes should be enough to warrant some new tooling.Jason
you could take it personal ....and decide I never believe YOU.logos and other trade marks do not follow with the equipment and real property.something UP discovered....ok, you say you know, I can't find that information.so tell me something I might be able to follow up and confirm.victor
Yeah, maybe an Alco S2. Jon
Actually, he is right. If anything NS would owe royalties/licensing to CSX for the NYC scheme should CSX so decide to go that route.Just because you can't find the information doesn't mean it is not out there, and when people reply to your posts lately you have been pretty dismissive.Regardless;PRR - NYC in the modern day, created in 1998, forming Pennsylvania Lines LLC and New York Central Lines LLC. The LLC's had their reporting marks, trademarks, etc passed onto them from Conrail during the formation of these companies, and were approved by the STB under docket FD_33388_0 (aka Decision 1). The holding companies had their own boards, until absorbed into their respective creative/parent companies approved by STB under docket FD_33388_94 (aka Decision 2) in 2003. CR's 21% remaining share of TTX was also transferred to NYC 10% and PRR 11% at the time. There is also much more in The Men Who Played With Trains.
