Dave: that hospital tray table looks perfect for the 144 sq. in. challenge.
We expect it done by the end of the week.  :ashat:

I scratched a small shack:

and put it on the Mt. Coffin layout with some added ground cover (gravel, static grass) & trees:

I really need to detail the interior of the blacksmith's shop.
Maybe next week.

Thanks for looking.

Looking good Mid (Marc)..... How's my little wooden trestle doing ?  ;)
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Congrats Tony! I alway like how excited siblings are to meet the new baby.......it passes rather quickly in my experience.
Nice job on the Packer photo editing Pud!!

Best wishes, Dave

Congrats, Tony!

Thanks Dave and the others.

Dave,
My father went through spinal fusion last year. His back issue was more than just pain though, it would cause his feet and legs to go to sleep and made it a struggle for him to walk. The doctors thought he was just being a whiner and wanted more pain meds until they did another MRI and found a bone spur that was half way into his spinal cord. It took him about a year till everything felt right again but it made a huge difference in his outlook.

Good luck and get well soon.

I designated the "extra hour" tonight as additional modelling time for my outfit cars.

Car #3 is an ex-GN boxcar with inset outside post sides and 10'-0" wide exterior post plug doors.  The only way I can see to model these is to build replacement sides in styrene and remove the Intermountain sides.  Here is the car with the replacement sides under construction including side sheets, bottom side sill and door sills, and donor plug door (the BCR removed one door and plated it in):

After attaching the sills I will begin adding the top chord and vertical posts.  The right side will eventually have to be segmented to include the door.
