As for my train activity this weekend, pretty much cleaned the wheels and my unitrack to try to get rid of a stalling issue in one specific spot, with no avail, the only thing I can think of at this point is it is the jointers.

Also, I got my plan pinned down for the 144 Sq In challenge. Mine is going to involve at least 1 removable fiddle yard to opperate, but the actual sceniced portion is going to be 144 sq in.

I hit a few of the open houses in SJ yesterday, one who I operate with on another layout but whose layout I hadn't seen before. Ended up getting invited into the inner circle of SJ operators, don't know if that's a good thing or not, we'll see.

I am not certain when I bought it new.  Now I wish I had kept better records of dates of purchase.

Besides getting ready for TrainFest, I have been working on the prototype for the Aggregate Unloading Facility. My laserboard pit has not arrived yet, so I bashed one out of styrene (although I made this one too wide) to see how it looks. It is really neat to look through the hopper screen to see all the way down to the conveyor. Found a few things that I want to modify, mainly to be more realistic. Like a couple of stair from the top base to the lower base, Ending the lower stairs sooner, etc.

And I just finished decaling my Penn central SW,and I didn't mess it up!
Next step,dullcote to seal the decals,and dull down the glossy paint. I'm so friggin happy!

Amazing how "puffy" I look in this picture; I'd been filled with several bags of saline and antibiotics.

Post-op hospital infections are so common these days and with super bugs like C-Difficile the sooner
you go home the better,  have a speedy recovery.

Finally a contribution! It’s been 6 months since I’ve been able to do any model railroading with wedding planning, home shopping, and planning a new job across country. Trains had been on hold for a while but things are starting back up again. The following pictures were posted on the “Bacon thread”.
