BDL168's arrived on Thursday and I spent some time wiring them up and continued to work on the signaling logic with some help from Dupes.  I need to pick up 4 SE8C's so the signals can start getting hooked up. The logic uses full NORAC aspects for interlockings.

Will 4 SE8c's do your whole layout?

I will need 2 more, one for the passenger terminal, and one for the interlocking at the east end of Meredith yard, both of which do not have track down yet. The other 4 will cover the rest of the mainline.
I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

Yes... I'm in N... Also HO and 1:1

Flight2000,

Excellent ditch lights.
The ones on the pilot, are they details that were already on the shell that you animated or did you start from scratch?

Thanks for the kind words Andrew..... teach a kid to love trains and you'll have someone's layout to use when you're too old and blind to build one yourself....LOL

Here's where we are as of "kickoff".......(with the garage door open for light and using a tripod and proper f stops and shutter speeds....)

Four and one half days left, but I think we're getting there................
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

They are the old Sunrise Enterprises ditch light castings.  My supply is getting really low, so I may need to look at scratch building them in the future.  Maybe someone will buy the molds in the future.

Thanks,
Brian

Holy Cow, what a show here so far.

Agreed! This shot in particular caught my eye. What an outstanding scene:

Here is a few pics of my I1sa that I am working on I have just a few more small details to go on the tender then it is off to the casting department to make a few copies ;D.
Then I need to finish up the actual engine and get that to paint but as you all know all good things take time.

Are you going to build a compressed air G scale steamer with this as a guide ? Instead of air , use a flammable gas like whats used in a cigarette lighter , then you can exhaust flames . Use only outside the house .
