I like the motive power selection for your cover art! But as you probably know, the WM never got that close to the mill... The stone train would be dropped off at the PBR yard at Sparrows Point... Still, it's the thought that counts!Lee
Makes me think post-Chessie Youngstown...
I spent the weekend putting finishing touches on a Companion Volume to the Kalmbach Steel Mill book. The Kalmbach book will be going to the printers Monday and should be ready by April. The companion volume should be ready in about two weeks. It will be available from my website and Amazon.com. Here is shot of the cover. Both of the modeled scenes are N Scale. Here is the cover of the Kalmbach book.
You talked me into it John. Hope my little bit helps.

I have been looking forward to this book to help me design my steel mill complex on the layout .. Bernie's work is always well researched, and he is going to save me lots of time .. now if I could just get him to build it for me
John- I am planning selling the N Scale Blast Furnace. Price will be about $1200. if you are interested. It's the model featured on the cover.
