At one point Harz and Grant did an impromptu (read:mistake) test, pushing on both ends of the 45 cars with 8 locomotives total (5+3). With these couplers staying in alignment under buff and imparting little to no side forces on the cars, they surprisingly didn't accordian the whole train. It all stayed on the track.
LOL. That's a really good test.
Gary, you said a Kato box is under development? I was wondering if you were going to post any locomotive conversions. Has anyone done one already? seems a shame to leave boxing gloves on locos, especially that Scale Trains monstrosity.
