From Bachmann's Fbook:

#newmodelmonday We have something exciting to show this Friday at the National N Scale Convention! Stay tuned for a first look at some highly anticipated new samples.

Curious if they actually announced anything in N scale or if it was just samples of their Amtrak and VIA Siemens Venture passenger cars ...

Dear NS:

Please make this your standard paint scheme..
It turns out you can get black confetti in the shape of d'cks...

I like the hot rod style flames, but the grey looks like primer. The problem, I suspect, is that both Norfolk & Western and Southern used black on their locomotives. I'm normally a fan of painting things in warm colors, but red, orange, and yellow are already in use by other Class 1 railroads.

Black/flames/dark green could work though. The Southern used green at one point didn't they?

I'm especially impressed with the number of variant styles they are offering.  Modern N scale is facing an embarrassment of riches.

Southern used green on passenger power, but not freight.  (not correct, see below note from @Mark5)
Even so, they had one of the classiest freight schemes around.

This is not exactly correct. From 1949-1958 switchers, freight cabs, and hood units were green.
