That was actually the original horn configuration on them.

These are mine:







The short wings on the nose herald of #301 are correct.  Unit #301 had shorter wings than the other three.  Those are not quite the correct five chime  horns for WM, but, at the time that I did the locomotives, the correct ones were not available in N scale.  This is an old photograph that I have posted elsewhere on this forum.  The winterisation hatch was not on the prototype in my era.

Yes for the A amd C unit, on B unit I take eding 780 paint marker.

Check out 0:26. I’m not sure if it’s authentic sounds, but it does sound like WM horns from other footage I’ve found.

I just finished an upgrade  (??) to this old Atlas "Rail Whale". I had to fabricate the two truck bolsters. I replaced the original trucks, with pizza cutters, with MT long shank and no shank trucks and FVM wheel sets. I plan to weather the car and will run on layout.

No real progress, just spent some time messing around with photo angles. Experimenting with a very wide angle lens to make my very small layout look larger. Should be more effective with focus stacking, and a distant line of trees.
