Very painful for this 1970s Western modeler.
Question on the solar system car... are they using the Rapido lighting kit? Or did they make their own? Is this a test run before adding lighting kits for their passenger cars?
Good question, but I have feeling that nobody here even has one of those cars to look inside. And I'm not about to buy one - while I do acquire some fantasy schemes, I have zero interest in this solar system "glow in the dark" series.
Anything there that might appeal to you?
...Gotta figure that the Southern and NH modelers have been waiting a LONNNNNGGGG time for these.
Most certainly. Variations on the NH coaches also. The single release this month represents a smoker, with tan interior to simulate leather seats. The coaches in the November runner pack will be non-smokers and have navy blue interiors, to simulate mohair seats. Number series on both the single and the runner-pack cars are correct for each class. And the RPO is spot on as well.
Not even the eventual Uranus one?Cause I'm thinking about a unit train... lol.
Just the thing to run during T-TRAK meets. You'll have to get photos of it passing through the Cumberland station, Dauphin and MG tower modules - maybe even rolling down the center of Ashland VA.
Man, you New Haven guys are picky. Which china pattern did you spec for your diner? When they get to the foobie Santa Fe single window coach, I will buy it if they do the post war coach interior with green and cream diamond checked upholstery and brown carpet with cream rectangles, and southwestern artwork on the various wall panels.
