Very painful for this 1970s Western modeler.  :scared:

Yeah I noticed that.  But great schemes on great roads so . . . .

I predict MTL will set a monthly record for sales and pre-orders of the single window coach.  Gotta figure that the Southern and NH modelers have been waiting a LONNNNNGGGG time for these.

Erie and L&N will come someday....right?

Where are the new 2-bays?  I thought we'd have those by now.

Nevermind, 2021.

Question on the solar system car... are they using the Rapido lighting kit? Or did they make their own? Is this a test run before adding lighting kits for their passenger cars?

Good question, but I have feeling that nobody here even has one of those cars to look inside.  And I'm not about to buy one - while I do acquire some fantasy schemes, I have zero interest in this solar system "glow in the dark" series.  :|

Anything there that might appeal to you?  ;)

Nothing I wasn't already aware about.  :D
As accurate as possible, BTW. 8)

Most certainly.  Variations on the NH coaches also.  The single release this month represents a smoker, with tan interior to simulate leather seats.  The coaches in the November runner pack will be non-smokers and have navy blue interiors, to simulate mohair seats.  Number series on both the single and the runner-pack cars are correct for each class.  And the RPO is spot on as well.

Man, you New Haven guys are picky.  Which china pattern did you spec for your diner?

When they get to the foobie Santa Fe single window coach, I will buy it if they do the post war coach interior with green and cream diamond checked upholstery and brown carpet with cream rectangles, and southwestern artwork on the various wall panels.

Just the thing to run during T-TRAK meets.
You'll have to get photos of it passing through the Cumberland station, Dauphin and MG tower modules - maybe even rolling down the center of Ashland VA.

I would love to see it passing through the "gap".

Not picky.  Just helping out to insure the bodystyle (which is prototypically accurate for NH, as is the RPO), is deco'd accurately.  The leather-seated variation was their idea, but one I support fully.  Originally, the plan was to have the smoker in with the runner-pack as a coach variant.  But the pandemic has forced production to be more streamlined, so all the like-produced coaches with navy interiors are now together in the runner pack.

Even so, there's still work to do.  Inner walls/floor/ceiling have to be painted, light boards added, couplers moved in, diaphragms upgraded.  The bathroom windows already are frosted so that's one less thing to do.

Powder blue china with no pattern for the diner btw.  Very easy to replicate.  8)

I have all of the three dome tank cars that MT has done, might as well add another one.
