Looking for some decoder information on a decoder that is in a Trix/Mintrix locomotive (16234)
You can download the manual (which has a section in English) from this page: https://www.trix.de/en/products/details/article/16234/
Been there, done that. It is a very basic rudimentary info manual. Nothing advanced (like function remapping or other similar things) are covered in there.
I did the JMRI PROGRAMER. It identified the decoder has a Trix, with 3 check drops- one a Trix, one a version 1 and a HO version.I tried all three but I could only get the programmer to open with the version 1.Not too much there, about all I could do was set the address, use speed table or use a slider to set speed. So there was very little help there.
Well Turing on a H/L is not an advanced thing, but mapping might be.F-8 is turning on/off cab chatter- so who knows where the light function might be hidden?
Turning on the headlight is an advanced function?
It was suggested on another forum that the Trix decoders are supplied by Doehler & Haass. Here's a link to a decoder manual from their site: https://doehler-haass.de/cms/media/pdf/DH05C_DH10C_DH16A_en.pdf
