My DC layout is divided into 2 sections (Towers) each controlled by different power packs. Is there a way for a 3 position signal to be used to show the following 3 conditions (using only track power)?
     1) Both adjoining blocks powered and aligned in polarity (Vertical/Green)
     2) One side unpowered (Diagonal/Yellow)
     3) Sides powered in opposite polarity (Horizontal/Red)
It is a dual trackage area and 99% used in a single direction for each track

Can the signals be turned off when only doing continuous (loop) running?
Will there be power drop issues?

There is surely a way, but some parameters would be helpful...

Do you want this done without a computer?
How handy are you with electronics design?

No computers. (Although I am comfortable with computer operations I have no interface capabilities.)
No electrical design skills.
