Also, calling all water-based paints "acrylic" is a peeve of mine. There are plenty of solvent-based paints out there, based on acrylic resin. But for some reason hobbyists seem to have adopted that incorrect terminology.

Just got home from the LHS, first visit in about 3 months, purchased some Model Master acrylics, while checking out I said to the cashier “I hear these are discontinued”, to which he responded “only the enamels, the acrylics will continue to be manufactured”.Good news to my ears, as Model Master acrylics are my go to paint.
Addition to my last post....just tried to refill our Model Master acrylic rack at the shop today. Out of 124 colors originally available in the rack, Testors has cut it down to 39.
