Hello,As of this AM, no response from the vendor. BL models is in Florida, so they be busy with mops and buckets (if they are lucky). Maybe I will try mine again. I am tempted to open it up and poke around, but I don't want to violate the warranty. Kinda disappointed. The Centipedes worked like champs from the get go.Larry N
Spook just posted earlier on FB page he is returning his for a replacement. Not happy with performance. Checking to see if he just got a bad one or they all are like that
I, personally, find it completely unacceptable that an N scale locomotive, at these prices, 'may' or 'may not' work....Athearn has been having the same issues with its re-release of the Big Boy...(I guess I was really 'lucky' that mine hasn't fallen apart...) It's for these kind of issues that I just can't justify ever purchasing a BLI product (nor a Scaletrains) in the current state of their design and quality control...in appearance, they almost have no equal, but every one of my previous E unit purchases have ended up on Kato mechanisms...It's a real shame...~Bruce
I just cannot imagine in this day and age, what with the ever increasing cost of these things, that each and every one of them is not extensively tested prior to shipment to distributiors.
I wonder if the HO versions are having these problems.
