I have been watching a ton of YOU TUBE layout videos this week, while home sick. Layouts
like Lance's Downtown Miami, Bernie's Port Of Los Angeles, Pele Soeberg's Midwest UP, Lestico has a new Port Of
Long Beach, Parker's, The BNSF Fall River, The SP Quisling Turn (Shelf Layout) and others
have got me on the fence DFF. I made the switch from a massive HO collection to N in
2006. Sold off all of the N with the move in 2012 to Alaska and started again three years ago.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!  I speed-matched my HO locomotives last night, so I can play with them today!  :)  Oh, and I'll probably start a list of N scale stuff priced to sell quickly.  Stay tuned.

Howzabout some N Scale...

Just loving the new FVM SD70ACes - here are the first two with details applied.  And they run as good as they look!

No recovery for me either - I'm in N scale for good. Well, maybe with some diversions into Z or T gauge at some point. Small is beautiful!  :D  Themz H0 locos have way too much empty space inside for installing all sorts of DCC and sound doo-dads. Where is the challenge in that?   I love me some challenge!

We held our 8th operating session on my Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines layout today and learned:
1) You can't take a 23 car tank train up a 3% grade with only 2 Atlas GP38s
2) The crew forgets everything they have learned from the first 7 op sessions when you give them 6 months off
3) We only have 2 operators that can still fit into the Camden access hatch since the city encroached into its space

Mario (@mrodtoo) got cheated in the crew highlights of my articles in N Scale Magazine (you could only see the back of his head while he was working), so this is his actual face. He obviously enjoys yard work:

Mr Model Railcast himself, Tim, switching in Woodbury:

@Ntrainz1, Bob, stuffed in the access hatch for obvious reasons:

The tank sweeper pausing to switch the Texaco refinery in Westville:

Here's some Colorado-flavored N scale.  Just got a new backdrop for the Midland from Train Junkies:

That looks really nice.  Could you give us a similar pic of the BNSF model?  FVM has had a tough time in the past with the color of the striping IMO
