The announcement was put together rather quickly. Mike's dates, and the gon, are 1964 and 2016.

The reporting marks in production will be PVR (not PV) to match Mike's models.

I just found this. I routinely don't read the sticky notes.  I know; bad on me. Can this also be posted in the product discussion section too?

Well, I tried to place an order.

I got a message that said my card couldn't be charged at this time. Then my phone rang. It was an automated fraud detection thing from my bank. I guess placing an order with a Canadian model railroad shop qualifies as "suspicious activity." Funny though. It asked me about two different transactions for the same amount.

Where the hell was this service a couple years ago when somebody was ordering $100 baseball hats and buying plane tickets to Jamaica on my card?  :facepalm:

Oh, well. I'll see if the charge shows up on my account. If not, I'll try again later.

Can't say enough good things about Rapido for doing this. Hope the run sells out.

Done and done!  Mike was such a giving person.  One day an envelope full of Milwaukee Road decals showed up at my house.  These cars will help us remember his spirit and talents.  Thanks Rapido!
