"Can someone just measure the deck?"Jason, that's exactly what I had in mind... I have one of their bulkhead flats, but no ruler fine enough to measure it. The smallest I can get is 64ths of an inch, and that gives a very large margin for error.
Time to go to Harbor Freight Tools and get a 6" Dial Caliper for less than $15 bucks.
+1Or for around $20, an easy-to-read digital caliper. I have several myself and I too would be lost without them.Is that drill bit a #73 or a #72? Hmmm...
Yup, and "Hmmm...how many mils is .46mm?" That little yellow button gets a big workout some days!
I can't even fathom how every model railroad model builder, kitbashed and scratch builder wouldn't own digital calipers.
+1Is that a .... #73 or a #72
Modeled without one for over 25 years. I do ok.
I'm actually quite fond of one of Minnesota's greatest exports:
I wonder if anyone has contacted one of the digital dial caliper companies to see if the could program in the different scales?A caliper that could read out N scale feet and inches would be pretty awesome.Jason
Yeah, but Micro Mark wants $1999.99 for it
LOL, I'd just find whatever they're repackaging.Jason
