Structure work for me. 

working on my first ever lazer kit.  Holy annoying windows.  I love the detail but they're damn tedious   


I also grabbed a cheapie model power building to customize a bit and make a little less toylike.  still needs weathering.

A continuation of some of the work being done on the MNSE club layout....

Replacement of the Port Narrows bridge.  This is a more detailed version of the previous bridge..

This is pre-assembly before painting...

Everything is strip styrene, except for the Counter-weight pulleys.  These were found at a novelty store.

Lift bridge is astounding, Craig.

It was dueling X-acto Knives at the kitchen table, as Rhodana and I did a little construction over the weekend. We picked up the Laser Arts kits at our local Hobbytown, where they were on clearance. The two houses with the hip roof are scratch built. She grew up in a mill, so that was her project. The best part is teasing out the little details.









The pile foundation under the cream color house will be sunk into the terrain on Seusscaboose's layout...  It's taken a bit of time, but we'll soon be fixing this picture of Thomas...

Bridge Building process....

Desk (Workbench) as main pieces of each section have been assembled.

Parts after priming.  The Main span in the center, (2) tower sections, (2) counter-weights (lower left), Wheelhouses (go on top of the towers, center bottom).
The  building with the 2 tanks in the upper center, is a Frac Sand project.

Major skew on the photo of this one so I had to tighten the lettering a lot, and recolor it, the background, and the Hamms logo, and then get rid of panel lines across the suds.  (Looking at t online, I realize I may have to redo the slogan, it seems to taper too much at the end, drat).


Peteski, I found a better quality version of that Fresca billboard and will redo the image eventually.

Beautiful day today (after a nasty front moved through yesterday), highs reaching the upper 60's!
I took the opportunity to take 3 of the T-Trak modules outside and set them up on a folding table a few minutes from the house. Although the General Store module is still a work in progress, I felt the structure is complete enough to photograph.
These three modules feature structures from Blair Line in N scale: the General Store, Dari King, Ernie's service, and a couple of Billboards...
I think these rural structures look right at home.
