I don't run containers very often ; which is to say "never"....My 1973 British Columbia theme doesn't lend itself to double stacks or a lot of COFC traffic, rather TOFC traffic is the norm. I saw some CP Ships decals a while back and decided that a few 30' containers as part of run through would be acceptable,,,, so; knowing nothing about containers, and caring even less, I decorated a half dozen CP Ships and Canada Maritime containers....







I'm sure the containers aren't 100% right but that's ok with me; this little taste of COFcwill satisfy my requirements for years....

I say add some chains to tie down the containers, and what you have is plausible, especially for the early 1970s.

More truss bridge parts in progress the floor trough and diagnal web members still need to add etched lacing bars to the columns and a floor plate to the trough.

My wife asked me if I am married to my hobby. That made me think I should show my love and appreciation to the little plastic people. 1/160 rings or earrings are too small, I don't have an N scale flowershop, so the next best valentine's day gift I could think of was to give the tiny guys a quad:

OldEastRR:  On the prototype that gap was directly under the stake pocket, probably so the stakes wouldn't block, or scrape off, the lettering.

The painter at the St Cloud shops couldn't find the right stencil for painting this car. He used a stencil for a car with ribs, hence the space. I personally like it  8)
