I added a Pepsi machine to the porch (Railway Express Miniatures product)....

Great modeling!  The screen doors are a really nice touch.

Maybe add Mr. Frisby...and two guys in an early 60's convertible  sedan who want to talk to him.

Back to bridge construction.  I sure wish I that I could stay motivated this weekend to continue plugging along and finish the railing on the other side.  We'll see.  It's a lot of fidgety little bits of styrene for these not-so-nimble fingers.

Left it powered for DCC and lighting effects. There's P42 at the other end too that Grant Eastman speed matched for me.

Its not 100% accurate, but it's close. Including the roof. I'll take more pics as it nears completion. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Taking a cue from M.C. on Ardmore Oil. Used a rattle can top and Walthers tanks, along with
piping and ladders I found for $1 at OKC show. Moved out the loading ramp and put tank
farm in it's place. Will fence in with wedding ribbon mesh for chain link and use M.C's technique
for building chain link fence. Pipe elbows came from left over sprues. Backdrop picture will
move down the backdrop a bit. Too close to the oil tanks.

That rattle can top is a great idea!  Thanks for showing this.
Of course, it has the nice rounded shoulder profile, and there are smaller spray cans, not even necessarily for paint,
that would provide tops for smaller tanks.

MM: Film containers and pill bottles make great tanks as well. Of course I always kept
"sweet leaf" in those film containers back in the day.

It terrible when you have hobby money burning a hole in your pocket and a BYOL (Bring Your Own Locomotive) policy to the next ops session you are supposed to attend.

Moving the town of Ardmore around, it was getting congested. The MLK bridge is closer to prototypical now. The former
grade crossing was from Wellington, CO LDE and didn't fit here. Nice open area between grain coop and brewery for
trailers now. Oil company will have an office. Need to make a diagonal cut on MLK overpass. The worst thing you can
do on a small layout is cram buildings, scenery and more into it. It doesn't look so small if you avoid selective compression.
