We know.  That it's the 50's version is old news and most are okay with it.  Plus none of us really expect it in April anyway.

We've learned to not get our hopes up too soon.
But I'm optimistic about the T1. I'm sure it'll be great. I'll be getting 2 on day 1.

BLW put out the word that Broadway is shipping to dealers in May, so everyone will come home from the PRRT&HS convention to a nice present...

The version BLI is producing for N reflects what the locos looked like for most of their service lives - sheet metal started coming off by '47 or '48.  So it is probably more appropriate for the average modeler anyway, unless you are strictly modeling the immediate postwar period.

Good all around and no need for rending of garments!

I’m holding out hope for a run #2 with the “as delivered” version. That’s what they did in HO, so here’s hoping there’s enough sales to support it.

There were also rumors of a 5550 run from BLI at one point.

I don't think I've seen an announcement regarding new E Units.  Are they just a rerelease of an earlier run but with Paragon 3, or is it a new run?

No announcement that I recall, but they are listed on the delivery schedule nonetheless.  No link, no reservation possible at Factory Direct Trains.  The SD40-2 was similar as I recall until a few shows and a video last month (and there is still no reservation opportunity for them), so maybe there will be something when they are close to getting into stores.
