Well, last time I talked to Mr. Silvestri in person, about two years ago, he said their N scale offerings are constrained by the size of their sound decoders and speakers, hence the large-tendered (Pennsy) steam to date. I reminded him that there are other locomotives with large tenders, like the ATSF Northerns and Texas types, but got nothing but a noncommittal smile. Perhaps the healthy N scale steam sales will generate more interest in producing N scale steam, or maybe just more Pennsy steam 
Or maybe, with technology moving forward, a smaller next generation decoder (Paragon 4?) will open the doors to smaller power. Or maybe I'm just all wet...

Well, they started out in HO with the M1 and T1, so they're duplicating the production order in N so far.  The other early locos were the NYC J1e Hudson and N&W A-class, both of which I would imagine would do well in N.  The next group included the PRR J1 but then, yes, some ATSF Northerns, Santa Fes, and Texans, as well as SP cab-forwards.  Don't know what the sales were like for the western locos in HO, but if they were on a par with the PRR stuff there's a solid chance they will be shrunk down in the next few years.  Keep your fingers crossed!

I wonder why they have such a strong bias towards PRR prototypes.

Besides, healthy N scale steam sales will not generate more N scale Pennsy steam, those Choo Choo Shoes will do that.
Kidding aside, it sucks the Paragon decoders are so large that they must have huge tenders. As for other roads, of course it's good to have a diversified portfolio or offerings, but they aren't called "Twentieth Century Limited Imports".

They can do an I-1 (2-10-0) with a Coast to Coast tender, one of their decoder will fit in there.

I talked to bli today about some parts to copy for 3d printing.
I was told they were talking about the next n-scale steam locomotive. She wouldn't say for certain what models were being discussed but i guess the ho santa fe 2-10-2s sold extremely well. She told me to keep watching the website. I promptly told her that id be buying 10 santa fe 2-10-2s as a minimum.
Hopefully chickens "Broadway limited" remark will become a moot point.

I think @chicken45 hit the nail on the head there. From everything I’ve heard, those stupid choo-choo shoes generated a lot of profit for them. (Just not in the same market as their models.) I also recall a conversation I had with Ken a few years ago around the time that the M1 was coming out. I asked about future PRR models, and he just laughed and said, “They didn’t name it ‘Broadway Limited Imports’ by chance, you know.” I’m very hopeful that an I1 isn’t too far down the product list. That said, I’d be perfectly happy if they did some “off brand” stuff like a Santa Fe engine in the meantime. Gotta give us SPFs a chance to let our wallets recover.

I will be in for one of those 2-10-2s.  So that makes 11.  Maybe 2, but they would have to guarantee to produce them in my lifetime before I preorder the second one.

They come in some Men's sizes.. as I recall.. 9 and 10.. not sure if other sizes are sold out, or not made.

Because I'd kill for a Santa Fe Northern.... 3751, 2926...
(Don't get me wrong I'd love a 2-10-2 as well)
I've seen the HO version of 3751 and if it had a lower price tag I would have walked out of the store with it....

 I've seen the acronym SPF used a lot lately and I'm too dumb to figure it out. What does it mean? I'm guessing it has something to do with pennsy modelers.
