IT'S HAPPENING!

Just posted on Facebook:

The models have cleared customs as of last night and should be loaded out for distribution this evening. Be on the lookout for calls from your shops shortly!

Amazing.  I just realized that this saga bypassed the entirety of my thirties - put in for the first preorder round in 2005 at the tender age of 29!!!

In that time I promoted twice, had a second kid, did 5 assignments, earned a PhD, and did a command tour.

By the same token, I'm still patiently and quietly wainting for the B&M Flying Yankee From Prototrains/Fine N Scale.  I also have you beat by several years. http://www.prototrains.com/yankee/yankee.html  If you notice, even the last update of that page was back in 2005!!  The model, IIRC  was announced in the '90s. To be honest, it was so long ago that I forgot when it was announced.  :facepalm:

Again, same boat...   I'd pre-ordered the first time through Jerry Britton's Merchandise Service.  He had a decent deal, too.  But of course he's not been selling for years.

I'm also curious as to what the owners think.

I have seen them at both, 2015 and 2016 Springfield shows.  Back in 2015 I even had a chance to fondle and photograph the pre-production model (photos were posted here at that time).  In 2016 they had one of these running in the BLI booth.
