Just Mr. Kato. ;)

I bet we'll know when the spare parts show up in the Kato Parts store.

It seemed in the past that KATO had a method: they'd put ads announcing their new release in all the RR mags, then send out the items the first week of the month the ads appeared in the ads. I know they did that for the El Capitan and the GG-1. Not sure if they still follow that pattern.
But I would think if Kato can get this loco and set out before Xmas they will do their damnedest to get it done.

The Kato Japan website (http://www.katomodels.com/distribution/schedule.shtml) lists them as going on sale 11/28 in Japan. I have no idea what that means if you live on the other side of the ocean, though.

Went to KATO Japan site just to look around, in Canadian dollars it works out to $244Cdn.
To buy it in the States its $310Cdn, both are without shipping or getting screwed buy Canada Customs and or Canada Post.

Just a technical note, @Flagler .  This isn't a problem with this forum software - you can click the NEW button next to the topic title and it will take you to the first new response since you last read the thread.  This way, you don't have to scroll through posts you've already read.

It would also be easier to locate all the topics if we simply got rid of all the sub-forums and just have one bucket for everything.
