ESM #600500 8-Rib Low-Side Gondola Kit - RAILWIRE RESERVATIONS

This is to get an idea of how large the run should be for the low-side gondola kit.  The projected price currently is ~ $28, but that is subject to change as there remain a number of components / processes in the project that are not yet firm, as well as the total production quantity not being firm.  It should not fluctuate more than a dollar or two however in either direction.  The kit will contain the following components to allow the modeler to replicate any of the roads and schemes that were featured on the prototype:

• (1) Set of polyurethane resin body parts (two sides, two flat ends, two stamped ends, one floor cross-bracing assembly, one straight centersill)
• (10) Stainless steel wire grab irons (BLMA)
• (2) ASF A-3 friction-bearing trucks (BLMA)
• (1) Set of decals for six schemes and multiple car numbers in ACL, MEC and SCL (Microscale)
• (1) Die-cast zinc fishbelly centersill (Micro-Trains)
• (2) Celcon plastic stirrups, black (Micro-Trains)
• (2) Celcon plastic stirrups, green (Micro-Trains)
• (1) Celcon plastic Miner brakewheel, black (Micro-Trains)
• (1) Celcon plastic Miner brakewheel, green (Micro-Trains)
• (1) Celcon plastic vertical brakewheel, black (Micro-Trains)
• (1) Celcon plastic vertical brakewheel, green (Micro-Trains)
• (2) Magne-Matic coupler knuckles, thumbs, springs and trip-pins, brown (Micro-Trains)
• (2) Bolster pins (Micro-Trains)
• (2) Brass screws
• (1) Fret of brass etchings (steel floor, wood floor, brake box)
• (1) Brass weight

As with the Keyser Valley Caboose, detailed illustrated assembly and decorating instructions will be available online.  The kit should be available sometime this summer, following the release of the G32c gondola kit in the spring.  It will not be posted on the website until it is close to release.

This project was started due to the request and enthusiasm of the Railwire community.  These reservations are being taken among Railwire members for the sole reason to insure that every Railwire member has the opportunity to acquire the quantity wanted.  If the Railwire reservations exceed the planned production run, the run will be extended to cover the Railwire reservations plus a small overage percentage to sell to the general public.  As with the KV Caboose, this item is a one-time release and will not be re-run, so plan accordingly.

Please list your desired quantity in your post.  Most likely, PayPal invoices will be used to request payment when the kits are finalized, rather than purchasing through the ESM website, so that reserved kits aren't inadvertently sold in general.
