No complaints here Dave.  That kudzu looks awesome!  I live in Raleigh, NC and that, imho, looks exactly like kudzu and how it engulfs everything in its path.  Great job!

I went to the Houston Area train show in Stafford TX this weekend. Got to see two of superturbine's steamers- the T&NO GS-1 and the UP 4-12-2. Picked up a couple of locomotives, and an IM MKT hopper.

P.S.- superturbine, did either of them win the loco division in the contest room?

Wired some more feeders, and added feeders to my turnouts... discovered I have some decoder issues with two of my Loco's

Justification for the bridge not lining up with the crossing:  hole in the creek bed.  It isn''t unusual to find deep holes in Appalachian creek beds, where the rock has collapsed into a sinkhole.  The hole is plugged, so the stream doesn't disappear into it, but one can't build on it without unusually long pilings or expensive foundations.  Often such mud-filled holes are found when someone tries to drive a piling or stabilize a bank with rocks.

Maybe they had to move the track end of the bridge to avoid such a hole.  The S-curve does look better than two square corners.  If this is a fairly modern scene, and the road has been there for a while, one could fill the corner with "newer" pavement, as though the curve was modified to handle larger trucks.  A few potholes might also be in order!

For extra fun, add the remains of the original bridge that fell into the sinkhole?

You could, but in most cases there wasn't an "original bridge", as the hole was there before the bridge.  Not always, though, and it would make an interesting scene.
