First time I saw green wood ties...
I have seen green ties, and utility poles. They were treated with something other than creosote, a copper-arsenic compound probably, as that's what used to be used for treated lumber about the same color.It isn't uncommon for poles in some areas, but probably very rare on crossties. Some tropical termites can eat creosote, and NO may have them.
While everyones been studing the green ties...... no ones even noticed the two leprechauns on the back of the tender!!
