BN also had mid production units that had corrugated radiators with ratchet brakes.

I'm either going to change out the radiators of an early unit with MbE parts, or change the nose of snoot and mid production units with a nose from Atlas GP35s.

The SD40-2's showed up at Kleins and they have 82, yes 82, undecorated versions in stock.  Curious to see how long they remain in stock...

A couple days ago I was thinking there was a paint scheme I might want an undec for.  But now I can't remember what it was.  By the time I remember they'll probably be gone.

I'm sure they'll have the WSORs and others still available in a month from now. The UNDEC group will out though. I have noticed that, in the past, MTS gets some decent locomotives restocks if available from Kato.

ATSF, BN, UP are all represented on this release. What other western roads are there? Oh, right, BNSF. Tragic that they were left out of this run.

I have to give a  to Kato for not doing the early SD40-2 for CP. It's a good starting point for units starting at CP 5565 and running up into the early or mid 5700 series... a multitude of changes would be need to make them more CPesque, but for whatever reason CP red sells.

I suppose a KCS white unit would have been in order, but how well do they sell? Probably better than WSOR.
