The Maersk Paint Scheme, REALY  :facepalm: Why not the horsehead scheme or the original with dashed frame stripe?

I know...   Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't that on a CR unit, which would have the wrong trucks.

You have to figure plain old NS is coming, I would bet horsehead, because Kato seems to always focus on the newest scheme.

The BN 8023 is still in Green Paint, although it has had it's horn moved and it's headlight moved to the nose.

Yes NS 3329 was Conrail 6358, so if they are willing to do former Conrail locomotives with incorect trucks, why not just do Conrail.

Yes former Conrail SD40-2s had flexicoil trucks. However NS has also acquired 40 "new" 40-2s from leasing companies (20 from CEFX and 20 from NREX). All have been repainted in NS's HH and two are in Operation Lifesaver. Three "snoot nose" ones were also included.

I'm happy that they're doing this one with ditch lights.   :drool:  I think they were moving headlights around the time I model so I'll probably be ok with that.

And finally, straight Maersk (not Maersk-Sealand) containers!   8)  And right after I finally found a dealer that would sell me a Maxi-I without the containers....great timing!   :facepalm:

Good to see these will become available again.  Road names are meh, but paint and decals makes 'em what you want.

Glad to see them,  I bet more are coming...

I would think they would fit some of the leasing schemes in there as well....
