No, I said "Ed's Law."

Doesn't he already do decals for HO containers?

Yep. So, it'd just be a matter of "resize, print".

Well, the decal art is done; I just had to place an order for blue decal paper (so you can see white printing).

The brass kit from TrainCat is the only model available.  I acquired mine at a show Bob was exhibiting at - possibly one of the Springfield shows, so it's possible he will be there in two weeks with product.

Here's mine, now waiting for the DB4 containers from NZT:

I did some digging in the archives and found this:

It's got the wrong ends, wrong brake wheel, and too many grab irons. Looks to be a 48000 series gon.

Maybe I'll slap a beaver on it.

The MTL car is a foobie. I also have a TrainCat gondola sitting in bare brass with no decals... Oh and a H31 covered hopper without decals...

This is the main reason I have no TrainCat cars.  There are many things I can do from scratch but I can't make decals.  It may be possible to hack together and "kitbash" decals from Microscale but I can tell you after one experience of putting together accurate dim, build, and paint data from individual numbers and letters from sheets meant for a different class of PRR car I was damn near blind and insane.  I have no desire to do so again.

You need an Alps to print the white decals for a G22, but any laser printer will output the H31 decals.

I would want the freight car red H31.

For 1958?  Gray with black print by then.

I model '56, and the PRR began using gray in 1953...  Very likely many didn't get repainted by '56.  For every gray I should probably have two reds for '56.  The H32As came new in '54 in gray.

Dave, if you need dim data I have an alps and can print you some.  I do them in Z and its amazing how well they come out.

...and there are at least few members here who have these printers and (especially if you can provide the print-ready artwork)  should be able to print some white lettering for Dave Vollmer.  Simple white lettering and a Pennsy herald is a fairly easy printing job.

BTW Bryan, your decal project is not forgotten, but I still haven't acquired a paint chip for color matching.

Wow, I appreciate the offers!  Alas it would seem neither the G22 nor the H31 are available while Bob gets sorted out.  I can't imagine how rough it's been for Bob so the least I can offer is patience as he gets back to business.
