Does anyone have any information on what might have, or might not have been announced at Trainfest ?
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

So far that's the only big news. Athearn's big announcement is they are back in full production and now have dates on a bunch of previously announced stuff andf the prices on somethings will actually go down compared to what they may have been originally announced at. BUT, the only N scale announcement is more Bombardier Commuter cars. YAWN!

So far, and I'm not even there....most everything has been posted here. The manufactures e-mails lable them as Trainfest announcements.

Athearn - Lots of HO, no N except catching up on old stuff
Bluford - Transfer caboose in HO, N scale chip hoppers
Fox Valley - Milwaukee Tender Frame Caboose N & HO, HO Soo 7 Post special run, GP60 painted samples in
Kato - New run of NW2's

That 9 different body style announcement by Bluford had me thinking it would be something awesome but what do we get wood chip cars   :o and as usual Athearn is being their normal HO biased selves :x At least Trainworx has some awesome gons on the way and MTL has a good 60' boxcar!

The transfer caboose is major good news for me and other Milwaukee fans. These were used extensively on the Beer Line and I having been begging for them since Matt first announced a brass version 5 years ago. I realize that these have limited appeal but it is a very cool caboose. I suspect that he will also tool a new caboose truck for these as well but don't know for sure. All I need now is a FM switcher!

Best wishes, Dave

I sure hope Atlas will do the new HO GARX reefer in N; and wish American Excellence would break into the N scale market with its existing product lines in N.

There was this too: (More of an 'It's about time').. I was hoping the delay meant the tooling of a new cab, but based on the fuzzy photo.. no luck.  But.. they 'are' coming..

I completely forgot about FVM's Transfer cab. Not bad.

The GARX Reefer Atlas is doing would be prettycool, but isn't that Ex-Branchline Tooling?

The S2 should be popular, but the sooner somebody goes gangbuster with an SD40-2, the better.

AND as usual, nothing from Walthers.
