Not much to report this week. I did get a little more foam laid down and spent some time working on a locomotive project for the upcoming 100th anniversary PGE/BC Rail convention. I did have some fun with the new camera though.

Chris,
I really like that green on the second locomotive, what roadname is that?

Lots of great stuff this week, but my favorite is that Nn3 steamer.......nice work, Chris333....

I worked up a couple of Southern boxcars this week, starting with 3$ shells, a half used spray can of brown, and some Microscale decals someone gave to me over 10 years ago.....also some BLMA coupler platforms, Atlas trucks, and FVM wheels.......And a modified door(car on right) that I found a pic of......I still want to hit the doors with a light spray of Oxide red/brown, but I don't have any....

Next is this pic I 'shopped, of some models that have been on my photo diorama this week....

Have a great week......

Not much for me lately, although I "made it snow" on my intermodal yard and its close to being 1/2 done. That got me to pull out these N Scale Kits 20' Container Chassis and build today, just need some final weathering:

my best,

Cody, It is his 6x12 motor.

It is sunk down into the chassis so it looks shorter.

Compared with a stock motor

I'm already getting set to order one of his 6x10 motors since the extra 2mm less of space will make it easier for me to mount it sideways inside either a small steam-tram or even the boiler (or even make it the boiler) of a small 0-4-0 or 0-4-2 tank engine.

Some really outstanding modeling this week, folks.  Hard to tell it's summer, judging from all of the activity.  Good to see.

In the Foxx household, as noted in more detail over in the Seaboard Central 2.0 thread in the Layout Engineering forum, we've got a new HCD layout underway:

In the fall as an undec kit if the stars align and the start-up costs don't blow it up.

Excellent. Nice model. I'm assuming this is a G32c, any way a provision could be made to do a G32?

I'd be good for one G32c, but I could go for a couple of G32's.

Thanks Watter

The second green locomotive is an Oneida & Western SD40-2. BC Rail purchased several of them from the Kentucky coal operation in 1987. They received BCR numbers and letter boards almost right away and within two years they were painted in the Red, White & Blue. Mine is a Kato unit custom painted by me with custom made decals.
