Along with everything else, I've been working on my first delivery to the Waterloo trailer ramp.

I don't have any idea how much it will cost yet, but due to it's size it should be okay.  If it's really cheap, I'll RP the under frame too instead of building it.  Hopefully the TrainWorx 85' Pullman flats will be here soon to carry her.

Hoemade saddle tank.

Gee, Chris, that's overly self-deprecating, don't you think?

Very neat Chris.

This week was slow; working on modifying a Roundhouse wood side caboose into a CPR high cupola plywood sheathed van...lots of sanding and fun modifying the cupola.

Meanwhile we run trains....

Afternoon shunt's a bit light today, an empty SOO Line 40' will be picked up after a CPR 40' plug door grain box....

Dig the scene, Pud.
For some reason I really like that dude just standing there watching the trains.

Very cool, Chris.
That front coupler looks a bit stiff, though  :ashat:
Is this for the Welsh quarry line you're building in addition to the 10 other layouts?  :D

Not much done on the Mt. Coffin & Columbia River Layout except grabbing a shot of the boxcab stringing some reefers into town while the Turn-of-the-Century "autorack" (wagonrack? drayrack? phaetonrack?) unloads everything but the horsepower at the Mt. Coffin freighthouse:

Keep up the fab work & posting!

I love the saddle tank!  Nice work Chris!

This week along the Kootenay river: finished painting and glossing the river, painted the backdrop, put in the first pass ground cover and a few trees.  Lots more trees and scenic details to go.

have a great weekend everyone!

If you can't sell 'em on ebay, you have no choice but to cut it up...

Well, there's your problem.  Nevermind the quartering, hell, none of the wheels line up!  Maybe this should have been checked before they cut it up.

This was one of the iconic pieces from the Bufkin Collection... the siderods were already half off, the motor was shot, and the tender was missing (the tender in the shot is from a Rivarossi engine that gave its life to the K-2 project).

I've got a few more things I'm putting to good use in this manner... details to emerge in the 12x12 challenge.
