I love how fast they are rolling these out. 

It seems like they could turn this into a huge public awareness/marketing campaign.  I'm sure no one knows of the heritage effort outside of railfans, though.

One has just gone into the paint shop and one is getting it's primer based on info I got off the North Central Indiana RR Yahoo Group.

The marketing value is not lost on them Tom, they will get around quite a bit after the Spencer get together on the 4th.

I find it interesting that the 4 EMD units painted so far are still all at the plant in Muncie...

The GE units all were out hauling freight within 2-3 days of leaving the paint shop.  I wonder if they haven't been officially turned over to NS yet.

I believe the GEVOs were painted at NS' own shops and had already been delivered to NS whereas these ACes are being painted as they're built and as such will be delivered to NS as one large group.

The GEVO's were, I've fanned altoona works on facebook and so every time they finished a unit it was on my home page...as were the other GEVOs.
