Now, the question is....for those that want this car:

Do you buy both sets and make a full 47 car train?
Do you support Craig for being the first?

Interesting question.  These cars will live or die on the quality of their refrigeration detail: that and overall quality will be the deciding factors for me.  If they end up being comparable in quality, I would probably go for something like a 75:25 ratio of BLMA:ER, mainly because I want to support Craig's more innovative and diverse business model (spine cars, detail parts, trucks, signals, bridges,...). But I also want ER to come out with a TBOX, and someone to come out with the BNSF reefer... :-[

Didn't Craig say that he works closely with ER?  So these are probably both the exact same cars coming from the same place, just being sold by 2 different companys

If you look over on the Atlas HO forum, unless something was taken down, ER makes an OUTRAGEOUS accusation against BLMA, that really troubles me.

Gary - I probably don't need more than 4-5 of these - so BLMA will be fine, but even with 47 you have to figure there will be decorating differences between the two that will make it better to have a fleet of one or the other.  Like a different "white"???

I haven't seen anything from ER yet that would make me choose them over BLMA.

Well after a bit of looking it appears they're both selling 24 packs, so assuming they're numbered differently I'll have a 48 car train for the club layout when they're all released  ;D
