Amoskeag Northern - Updates

Some quick grab shots on some progress. I got a bunch of turnouts a few days ago so that I could finally finish the main line, so at this time the mainline, less staging, is 100% complete (Yay almost roundy round train time!). I also got all the remaining turnouts I needed to complete the Pemigewassett Industrial Track.  The Pemi IT is the layouts tribute to Bill Denton's Kingsbury branch. There has been some changes to the track plan so it could fit my space, but it still retains the KB feal. The KB is the main inspiration for the layout. The Amoskeag Line will pass over the Pemi on some ME bridges as it crosses over to Union Station.

You need to cut a hole through that support pipe and make it a "Flood Loader"...

Hey Ian, I think I've seen that track layout somewhere before  :  Bet I could switch those industries faster than just about anyone else.  ;D

Thanks Jerry. The layout is named for the area around Manchester, NH where the Amoskeag falls and the Amoskeag mills were a prominant part of Central/Lakes Region NH.

Took some overhead photos for the map man. Here is a 1600px image of everything but the major yard. The original image is 7700px!

It's nice to have space!  Where should the main yard be on this photo-schematic?

Main yard would be at the top right end point. It comes down and then enters hidden staging in the utility room. The track would then come out of the utility room and enter the layout at the lower left end point.
