The next great n scale freight car

So, with all the discussion around about the current Exactrail, Athearn and Atlas releases (not to mention BLMA's rapidly expanding product line) what do we want our favs to concentrate on next?  If I have missed one, let me know, and I'll see if I can add a category.

-N&W (and PRR leased) H2a hoppers (all 12,500 of them!)

Some new 1960s vintage 40' plug door boxcars. Thanks for asking.  Now get back to work!

Best wishes, Dave

Canadian made stock cars would rock; a CC&F slab side hopper (I hear rumours...) would be number one on the list; Point St Charles and Angus shops cabeese would make me poor; pressure unload hoopers like "someone" is doing in HO would get my undivided attention.........and more passenger cars; head end and sleepers please...heavyweight !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Gondolas - 52/3 and 65'  from 1970's to present prototypes...

modern ballast cars

PCF 50' boxcars

All purpose well cars

Kits to improve existing freightcars - ie. bulkhead kits, replacement doors, mow conversions

I assume by "first generation tofc/cofc flats" that we're talking about 89-footers and not the goofy faux TOFC that Atlas has. 89' cars are sorely needed - the Arnold/Con-Cor is (or, rather, was) a gross casting bereft of detail and MTL's current single-version monopoly on this franchise has got to be broken. I'm getting tired of fighting tooth-and-nail on eBay to, in the end, pay $25/per for a bare flatcar.

Thanks for all the additions.  The list is getting longer, so go back and vote if you haven't already.

Not near enough, would like to see a 4427 lo-side, 4500 and 4700,  a quality open side 2-bay, GA 'Dry-Flo' and I would really love some phosphate hoppers.

I think the market is lacking a quility 40' PS-1, and needs 40' and 50' boxcars from other builders post 1937.

Right now I'd love a 50' ACF plug door with a 10' door.

My odd-ball choice for someone to do is a General American 40' mechanical reefer.  I know Swift and Hygrade had them but they are a neat prototype and there are a couple around to measure.  :)

...Or a 19,000 tank car, some 52'6" flat car options, 50 other tanks car styles....

I'd love to see a modern stock car, like those UP hi cubes, or the short version of the Pig Palace.

And how about a 50' riveted, end brake gear MT-quality flat?

Oo oo oo! Sign me up for 50-60 triple decks! Farmer John train, here I come!  ;D

(The "Farmer John train" was an express hog hauler UP ran into L.A. as late as the mid-'70s, IIRC. UP was in the hog transport business long after everyone else ceded livestock hauling to trucks. The UPHS ran a great article about the hog cars a couple of issues ago, and in there has to be a great modeling opportunity.)
